ISO: A Test Shoot Program- “ROOTED: THE CROWN WE CARRY

“ROOTED: THE CROWN WE CARRY”, was a moment to examine the deeply personal and cultural relationships between hair and self-expression. For Black men, hair exists beyond style. It’s a living symbol of lineage, transformation, discipline, and individuality. This test shoot aimed to document both the visible and internal aspects of this relationship. Strength and softness, pride and vulnerability, presence and introspection.
