ISO: A Test Shoot Program- “Heirlooms: Before Us, Within Us”

Exploring the objects, rituals, and memories that connect us to those who came before us. Across the diaspora, heirlooms exist in many forms. Passed down through generations, carried across borders, or just quietly held over time.

From vintage garments and inherited jewelry to dominoes, and antique furniture reminiscent of Caribbean family homes and church pews, each piece arrived with a story already attached.
These pieces became a temporary archive of memory and small reminders that the things we hold onto often hold pieces of us in return.
